Nonostante tutto continuo a correre!

Wanna run? #1 | Weeks 1 and 2
Settimana 2
Martedì ho dovuto saltare causa lavoro improvviso.

○ Peso e IMC
○ Misure giropetto, girovita e girofianchi
○ Fotografie frontali e laterali

Autumn favorites
Happy 2016 people!!
Since on December I only posted things about Christmas, I had to write this post, so I decided to write it now, at the beginning of 2016.
For this year I have a lot on my mind for my blog, and that's because I want to make changes in my house. And of course I'm getting better in cooking because I simply have to cook for myself every single day, so I have a lot of recipe to share.
But for now I will share something easy which I like to write on my blog every three months.
Last autumn was a lot messy and busy for me, but I started to create my new routine, and that's what made my fall special!
Grass - Lush
Ok I know I'm starting with something which is not sold anymore. But what can I say? I bought three of these because I wanted to have enough for a year or more. I love the scent of grass and I am sooo sad that I won't be able to buy it again. I am currently trying to find something similar, but it's not that simple. I used this a lot in november and december, and I have a bottle left. I just don't want it to finish... but I think I have to surrender.
BB Cream Miracle skin perfector, light - Garnier
I bought this in july, but I didn't use it a lot because I don't like to put my make up on in summer. but right now I am using this sooo much, it's perfect for my skin. I am not one of those persons who care a lot about INCI and stuff, so I have no problems with garnier. I think this BB cream is the perfect one for me: it covers imperfections with a natural result, it's not so much intense and it can be used also without any other make up. I suggest to blend it with your fingers and to use a powder if you have a particularly oily skin, like I have.
Lip massage - Blistex
I didn't buy this but it's a gift from my aunt and uncle. I didn't know this brand and this lip protection formula. I think this rubber applicator is a great idea because it really make your lips softer and smoother. I don't really like the smell of this, but I thinks that once you finish the cocoa butter inside you can use the applicator with another cocoa butter you like more. My lips are a lot better since I use it, despite of the cold weather. And I became sort of addicted to the massage... so relaxing!
Zara shopper bag
When I go to university, I need a big and roomy bag. I bought this one as a gift for my birthday, but I started to use it just a few months ago. I like it because it's so simple and pretty - I really love the red part inside - and you can use it with any kind of outfit. It has also a pouch inside with a zip where you can put your wallet and keys, so you don't have to worry a lot about them if you are on the bus!
Netflix
Last but not least... Finally netflix is available in Italy, and this is such a good news for every tv series-movies and so on addicted like me. I decided to try it with my mum, and after the first free month we decided to pay for it. I used it soo much, especially because in my new house I don't have television, so if I want to see something I use it. There are a lot of pros in using netflix: streaming is good quality, there's no danger of virus and library is getting richer and richer. So, what are you waiting for?

Christmas #4 | Home made chocolates
This is a very easy, fast and funny way to make chocolate. I think that you can make chocolates in order to eat them or to give them to your friends as a Christmas gift, and you won't fail.
What I love about making chocolates is that you can really let your creativity run wild. You can use so many types of chocolate and a lot of flavors with it... You simply need a chocolate mold with Christmas shape, and then you can really do whatever you want.
I'm gonna show you my kind of chocolates, but you can do them differently of course.
Ingredients
Chocolate
Chocolate mold
Nuts
Decoration
100 g powdered sugar
2 spoon of hot water
Food coloring
Crumble your chocolate bar.
Cook chocolate in bain marie until it's completely melted, then put it in your chocolate mold. Add a nut in every single chocolates shape and be sure it's completely hidden by the chocolate.
Leave your chocolates in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
When your chocolates are ready, prepare cake frosting: put your powdered sugar in a small bowl and add two spoon of hot water and the food coloring if you want. Mix until it's completely combined, then use a pen or a toothpick to decor your chocolates.
How do you prepare your chocolates?
Let me know in the comments.

Christmas #2 | Christmas tree
I'm one of those Christmas hipster-rebel-people who doesn't like red and gold as decoration.
I mean, I like red and gold as Christmas color, and if I see red and gold I suddenly think about december, but I don't like to choose them as colors for my Christmas tree.
When I lived with my parents, we usually decored our Christmas tree with blue and silver things. Last year we used blue ribbons (my mum did them with some tape and wire) and some plastic white snowmen we find in a chinese shop. It was really pretty, I loved those snowmen. You can also find the photo in my instagram profile.
This year, which is my first year in my new house, I decided to change and decor my Christmas tree with white balls and lights. The reason why I decided to do this is that I dream every year for a white Christmas, but here in Italy it usually doesn't snow in December. If it happens, it happens in January/February.
Since snow is one of those symbols you link with Christmas, but sadly I haven't had the fortune to see a white christmas so far... I decided to reproduce the snow on my tree. And of course I think that a white Christmas tree is really elegant and beautiful: my house has these colored walls (I hate them, I can't wait to paint them in spring), so a colored christmas tree would have been just too much.
My tree is 120 cm tall. I used some balls I found in a supermarket (IKEA didn't have the ones that I wanted, Maisons du Monde was way too expensive, and I didn't find a chinese shop in the neighbourhood): a good part of them is made with blown glass, decoration with white painting and glitters. Then I took some balls made with rope, they're just adorable, and I think I'm gonna buy another couple of them because, even if they're expensive, they look really good in my Christmas tree. In the end, I'm gonna add a rope with pine cones, but first I have to find it or some pine cones to create my own. If you have any suggestion about where I can find something like it, I would be extremely glad to know.
I know it looks a little bit naked, but I didn't know how many balls I needed. Maybe I'm going to buy something else, like my so much desired tape of pine cones.

Moving to Milan #3 | 5 things you can't miss for your home decor
This is the last post about my relocation in Milan, and I want to talk about home decoration. You house should be your home, and there's nothing better than personal home decor in order to feel home in your new apartment.
My boyfriend and I tried to put some customization in our apartment, and I found out that there are 5 items that cannot miss in your house.
1. Plants
Fake or real, big or small, a beautiful and colorful plant is all you need to make your house look more fine. I would like to put some plants in the balcony too, but I have to think about what kind of flowers I can deal with. I have no experience with gardening and I think I will let my plants die... I know, I'm a disaster. But still, plants are a really good choice if you want something really elegant and never boring.
2. Courtains
You can trust me when I say that with and without courtains your house will look totally different. I wanted to decor my home with them, but I waited an entire week for my grandma to bring me ones, and I can easily claim that now that I have courtains, my living room looks a lot better. Since my wall is pink, I wanted a neutral color, so my grandma brought me white courtains and they look great.
3. Books
Even if you don't like to read, nothing is better than books, or comics, in order to fill your empty shelves. They're colorful, they're different sized and of course they are a good hobby. There's also a study which says that a child who growns up in a house full of books will be better at school than a child who lives in a house without books - sorry, this is my psychologist-side talking.
4. Pictures
I don't like empty walls, and I'm suffering because mine are still empty. I just wanted to wait and see what's better for my house. So far I bought a puzzle which shows a picture of Amsterdam (a city that my boyfriend and I love so much), and now that is done I think I will put it over the couch, or in my bedroom.
5. Centerpiece
Maybe someone don't think that this is important, but I totally do. There's a big difference in a table with ceterpiece and a table without it. I decided to buy a big plate in IKEA, some fake leaves and flower with green apple scent, and a candle, which I put in the center of this centerpiece. I think the result is good and my home smells like apple when I enter.
These are my must-have home decor stuff.
Which ones are yours?
Let me know in the comments below.
I hope you enjoy!

Moving to Milan #2 | Furniture and stuff you will need
Hey! It's ben a while since my last update, and that's because I was busy with my relocation.
Now that I'm definitely moved, I can update my diary about my new life here in Milan.
Once you find your apartment, it's really important for you to focus on what you will need.
Of course if you decided to rent an apartment furnished you will have an advantage: but don't think that you won't need anything else, because you definitely will.
There are so many things that you need to live, and I'm not talking about dress, food and a toilet. I'm talking about all those little thing that you don't think about until you don't have them.
We made a list of stuff we had to buy, divided by room. For example, we made a list of things that you usually use in the kitchen, and then we began to go in house shops, like IKEA and similar, and look what the cost was. If you have relatives who can help you, it's a big advantage. My aunt gave me a blender, my grandma gave me some cups and cutlery, and so on. Of course you can't acquire everything, but I think that talking about your plan to move can be very helpful if you need stuff. Also your friends can help you a lot, by suggesting things or giving you something.
My word of advice is to wait until your friends and relatives have given you everything they can, and only then you can go and buy things. For example, we hurried up too much and we bought some towels months ago: now we have an entire piece of furniture full of towels.
Don't think that you will need a few money, because I can guarantee these things, even if little or cheap, will cost you a lot. And I'm talking only about the essential, things you can't stay without!
The last thing I want to talk about is the work you will have to do in your new house before you can definitely move in.
You need to know if the house is dirty, you should ask someone for help, and you should count 2-3 days to clean and sanitize everything, before you can bring your stuff there. I rented a very dirty house, and I needed some help, so I asked my mum to come with me some days before the permanent relocation. I can say that without her (and my aunt, who decided to come in order to help us) I would be stuck here cleaning the house!
Now that I'm definitely moved, I can update my diary about my new life here in Milan.

My graduation, 6th of October, 2015
I just wanted to share some photos about last tuesday, the day when I finally got my first level degree in psychology.
I'm so excited about getting started with second level now, but I also think that I should enjoy these days because I worked hard and I deserve it. That's exactly what I'm doing: nothing!
I wore a total black outfit, a very cute dress with a blazer and my medium-heel shoes. I had a new bag, birkin-model, given by my lovely boyfriend. Of course, I chose it, otherwise he couldn't decide what to buy, as usual.
My friends gave me Naked palette, I wanted it sooo bad, and I'm so happy about it! It's really great, I think it will be one of my autumn favorites.
I didn't have time to do my nails, but you know, when you have to organize something so important, everything that could go wrong, goes wrong.
After graduation ceremony and photos, we went in a cute place where we ate something, I was really really tired and I just wanted to go home and sleep, but you know...

Moving to Milan #1 | Finding an apartment, anxiety and thoughts.
It's kinda official!
I don't know the exact date but I'm going to leave the city where I was born in a few weeks.
After my graduation, which is set on 6th of October, I will have some days in order to prepare my stuff and move in my new little apartment, with my lovely boyfriend.
I decided to talk a little bit about it on my blog because it's such a important step for me, and it's the thing I've been thinking about for the last 3 months.
I've always lived with my parents so far, in Genova, which is a little city with sea and mountains. It's such a beautiful city, I love it, but it doesn't give me any opportunity for my future. I wish I could stay here and find a good job, but it's like impossible. I realized this years ago, when I was in high school.
So I decided to think about moving abroad, but then I fell in love, and when you start a long distance relationship the only thing you can think about is to delete that distance - even if in my case it's not so long. Milan is definitely the city which offers the most important job opportunity in Italy, and I'm lucky because my boyfriend lives there.
Finding an apartment is the most difficult thing at the beginning.
The first problem is that if you don't have a job you cannot know how much the budget is. You should definitely inform about the salary you can get, you must find someone who can guarantee for you until you don't find a job and of course, you can begin to look for it. It's not so easy if you're looking in some fields where there is a lot of demand, because if there is too many people applying for that job you are disadvantaged.
If you don't know the city where you're going to move that well, you don't know which is the best area where to stay. Maybe you find a good price for renting, but the area is abandoned and full of burglars, drunk people and beggers, and viceversa. If you have time to walk around, study the city and its areas, it would be great, but it's not so easy, I guess.
You'll see a lot of bad houses and maybe you can also risk to find a fraud, so when you're looking for a new house the vigilance must be constant (Mad-Eye Moody was right).
You have to accept that no apartment is perfect or will always be exactly as you want, so you have to content. I think that I don't want to pay a rent for the rest of my life, so it's a temporary solution. For the next 3-4 years, until I won't have the security of a good job and salary and I won't be able to apply for a bank loan, this is the only thing I can afford.
We found this little and pretty apartment in San Siro, which is the area near the stadium: affordable price, furnished and good enough for our needs. We are waiting for a confirmation, but if we can move there I would be very happy.
That's everything I wanted to say so far, I hope I will be able to tell more about this in the next few days. Now that I'm ready for graduation I really hope I will update my blog more often.
Stay tuned ♥

Spring & summer favorites
I know I didn't write about my spring favorites. I've been so busy that I almost forgot my name.
Looking for a good house to rent, a job, writing my graduation thesis... so many things to do and so little time.
I miss my blog and writing about my things, I lost a lot of beautiful post to do in this few weeks and I'm so sorry. I wanted to write about my little vacation, my impressions about Milan as a city where to live, my nail polish collection (but this is one of the next things I'll talk about here) and so many other things.
So I decided to anticipate the summer favorites post and put them together with the spring's one - that weren't so much because of reasons.
Victoria's secret pois pochette
I bought this amazing pochette in Amsterdam, basically because I wanted something by VS so much that I couldn't just leave without anything - after a few weeks it was announced that a new store would have opened in Milan... Probably you would find a similar one in a random shop with a cheaper price, but you know, it's not by Victoria's Secret. Absolutely perfect to bring in a single place the smallest thing you put in your bag and of course you don't find easily when you need them. And, honestly, who can resist pois?
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour - 167 Ballerina
This is my second Chanel nail polish, a gift - again - from my friends for my birthday. I love this one, it's so elegant and pretty. You can use it as a transparent nail polish or, if you add one or two coats to the first, you'll get a wonderful barbie-light-pink effects. Lovely and always appropriate.
This is my first MAC lipstick, I bought on December and I used it a little until I tried with my spring and summer clothes and I realized it was really good. They say you never forget the first MAC lipstick: I don't know if it's true but I've been using this one since spring began and I'm really happy about my choice. It's an amplified, super pigmented, really intense on your lips - and that's why I didn't use it during winter, because I had lighter skin and it was too much for my big and fleshy lips.
It's a pink/fuchsia/magenta color, really good for a night out or a special date. Or for summer looks.

LUSH toner - Breath of fresh air
I tried this one because I was curious and I became sort of addicted: I use this toner in the morning, everytime I want to refresh my skin, when I'm at the beach and after I remove my make up. It smells like sea and you can use it whenever you want. Not too expensive for being a Lush product. I usually spray it on my face, but you can also spray it on a cotton pad and then spread all over your face.
Snoopy
Sadly, I didn't read a lot during these months, mostly because I'm busy with University and I read only for my exams, but something that makes me smile everytime is my beloved snoopy. I like every single stories, I find them extremely funny and adorable of course, but never banal or stupid. It's not just a simple comic for children. I just love Snoopy.
London Rebel Bow Flip Flops
I've already mentioned these in this post, but they are officilally my favorite of spring-summer. I've used them so much so far, like almost every day. For a walk, when I was at the beach, at home. Comfortable and pretty, best flip flops ever!Wednesday, 8 July 2015
Series Update #3
Since I am a big fan of tv series - and you know it, don't you? - and I've mentioned this sometimes in my blog, I decided to dedicate a new column about my tv series.
You can find my top 5 in 2014 here and my first update here.
Today I'm gonna talk about three new series I began in the last few months. You can be sure I won't put any spoiler in my description, so keep on reading!
You should know that I will talk about old series too, because there's so many masterpieces to see and you can discover them even years after the pilot.
The Astronaut Wives Club
Based on Lily Koppel's book, The Astronaut Wives Club tells about the lives of astronauts' wives in the '60s, with their secrets, worries and fears. The plot is all about them and their feelings during their husband's travels in space. What I like the most about Astronaut Wives Club is the absolute credibility of the characters. They are so true that you'll end with identify with one or more of them.
The book is still unreleased in Italy but I'd like to read it in english. Maybe it could be a good way to train!
Only three episodes were released so far, so you should catch up with it.
Wayward Pines
Based on Blake Crouch's book, it's all about a strange little town called Wayward Pines. The protagonist, Ethan Burke, is a secret service agent, and he arrives there after a totally odd accident: it doesn't take too long to understand that Wayward Pines is not like all the other cities in the world.
I think this show can be described as a mix of Under the Dome and The Stepford Wives. It's not the most beautiful tv series I've ever seen, but it's definitely a good thriller/sci-fi show, so if you like the genre, you probably will like it.
The Good Wife
I didn't know this one until some of my twitter following started to talk about it. They were so excited that I decide to give The Good Wife a chance. I must confess, I'm totally in love with it. I usually don't like legal drama, because I don't like law at all - I don't understand anything. But. This tv series is the best one I saw in a long time - since I watched Breaking Bad, I guess. It's quite old, it began in 2009 so there are 6 seasons to watch, but if you like it, you won't realize that there's so much to watch. I love Alicia Florrick, I want to be like her, she's like perfect to me: from the way she wears her suite, to her mother's sensibility. I must confess I totally identify myself with her, I almost cry in some episodes. I began to be interested in law too, so I guess I'm pretty obsessed with The Good Wife.
A must-see.
So that is it for today. Have you ever seen any of this tv shows? Have you begun any new tv series recently? Let me know about it, I'm always happy to see more and more tv series.

Mini Essence haul
I know that my last post is about shopping too, but what can I say? I'm weak when I'm in a shop and I have some extra money!
That's what happened on Sunday, the day after my birthday, I was in Reggio Emilia to see a soccer match and in the afternoon my friend and I didn't know what to do, so we went to a shopping center near by and it happened. I was looking for a concealer and then we found Essence stall, and you know what is like finding Essence stalls. Everything is really cheap so you keep thinking that it doesn't matter if the quality is not the best, you'll only spent a few euros and as soon as you blink... you find yourself with your hands full of items.
Here's what I bought.
Brit-tea Duo Highliter Pencil - 01 par-tea highlight
I bought this one because it was a limited edition, and I must confess it's really good, especially the rose colour, because it's really useful to define your eyebrows shape. The lighter part... I don't like it, but I must admit I haven't understood how to use it. The instructions say that you should put it on the inner corner of the eyes to open them optically, but it doesn't seem to work at all. Maybe it's just me.
Eyebrow stylist set - 01 brunette style
Simply amazing! I heard about this a lot, so I decided to buy it and I confess, this is my new obsession! It contains three templates, for small, regular and high eyebrow, two powders and a little applicator. You just have to put the applicator on your eyebrow and "fill the blank" with the powder. It's easy to use and you don't have to be accurate (I'm the less precise person of the Earth). The result is really good. I strongly recommend it.
Longlasting lipstick - 01 Coral Calling
I wanted sooo much a new lipstick, in a summer shade, and I wanted to take a MAC one, but then I found this one and I thought that it would be great anyway. I tried another essence longlasting lipstick before (07 - natural beauty) and I was quite satisfied, even if it didn't last more than a couple of hours. But then again, if you only spent 3€ for a lipstick, you don't expect too much. This color is really summery and it lasts more than four hours, so, maybe, Essence has reconsidered the "longlasting"concept.
Pure skin anti-spot cover stick - 02 sand
I needed a new concealer, and I wanted to try a new one (the one I had before wasn't good at all). I was looking for a high-coverage one, I didn't know where to look because I don't like spending too much money for a concealer. My friend told me that she uses this one and she likes it, so I decided to try it. It's really easy to use because it's soft and easy to put on your face. It's actually high-coverage but.. I don't know, I'm not 100% satisfied with it. After a few hours it becomes really dry and leave some imperfections on your skin - especially under the eyes.
This is it! Have you ever tried some of these products? What do you think?
Let me know in the comments below.
♥
PS. Sorry if I don't update my blog a lot, but I'm studying for my last exams, working and writing my gratuation thesis. I'm doing what I can! I promise when this will be over I will write more.

A sunny morning in Abbiategrasso, Milan
Sunday morning, 7.00 am.
While everyone was sleeping, I woke up because the weather was too hot, and I couldn't sleep anymore. I hate when it happens. I am that girl who wears crop top at Christmas, so I definitely can't bear too hot weather.
Despite this, there's something good. I'm also that kind of girl who loves to sleep and I rarely wake up before 10 am, so I decided to leave and go outside, to have breakfast and walk a little.
My boyfriend was sleeping until he heard my steps in his bedroom, so he decided to join me.
I remember when I was in high school, I always thought about how much I would have loved to walk in the morning. I promised myself that I would have done it once the school was over, but I never did.
We had this amazing walk, a delicious croissant and a cappuccino, and then we walked through the center and took some photos.
